Spring 2021 Season

Q. When will the 2021 Spring Recreation Season start?
A. The season will start in mid-March and run through the end of June.

Q. When are the games played?
A. Games for all divisions are played on Saturdays. Depending on the number of registrations, we reserve the right to use other days and times to schedule games. In some cases, make-up games may be scheduled on weeknights.

Q. Where are the games played?
A. Games for the Orange, Red, and Green Divisions are played at Fords Middle School. Games for the Blue Division are played at Bowtie Field. Games for the Silver and Gold Divisions are usually played at Woodbridge High School.

Q. When will my team practice?
A. The coach for each team sets the practice schedule. Most teams practice on night each week.

Q. How much does it cost?
A. The registration fee is $85 for the first child, $75 for the second child, and $65 for a third child.

Q. What's included in the registration fee?
A. The registration fee includes a jersey/T-shirt and a participation award at the end of the season.

Q. What do I need to provide?
A. The only requirement is to make sure you child wears sneakers and shinguards to every game, practice and clinics. Players should also bring their own soccer ball to practices. Players in our Orange Division will use a Size 3 soccer ball. Players in our Red, Green, and Blue Divisions will use a Size 4 soccer ball. Players in our Silver and Gold Divisions will use a Size 5 soccer ball.

Q. When will I find out what team I am on?
A. We will notify parents towards the end of September. You will be contacted by your team's coach and you will be able to view team information and communicate with your team's coach via Teamsnap, our league management system.

Q. Can I request to play for a certain coach or with certain players?
A. Yes. There is a special request section on the registration form where you can ask to play for a certain coach or with certain players. We do our best to honor as many requests as possible, but do not make any guarantees.

Q. What division will my child play in?

  • Children who were born in 2015 or 2016 will play in the Orange Division.
  • Children who were born in 2013 or 2014 will play in the Red Division.
  • Children who were born in 2011 or 2012 will play in the Green Division.
  • Children who were born in 2009 or 2010 will play in the Blue Division.
  • Children who were born in 2007 or 2008 will play in the Silver Division.
  • Children who were born in 2005 or 2006 will play in the Gold Division.

Q. What rules are you putting in place as a result of COVID-19?
A. All players will be required to complete an online health check-in form prior to attending any game or practice. Players who do not fill out the form will not be allowed to take the field. Everyone attending a game or practice will be required to check in with a field Marshall upon arrival. All spectators will be required to wear masks at games and practices. Players should wear masks walk to and from the field. Two spectators (plus one child eighth grade or younger) will be allowed per player at games and practices. All teams will practice at Boynton Park to ensure compliance with these rules. Non-compliance will result your child’s removal from the program and the forfeiture of his/her registration fee.
